About Miss Fallon
Fallon Mercedes is a reporter and host for Fuze magazine online and the co-host for Fuze magazine online radio.
Fallon is not a stranger in the New England area. She has hosted many local shows interviewing artist in the Entertainment industry. She began at the age of 16 when she became the host of “Youth Unity”, a show that reported on positive acts in the community. She went on to hosting “Behind the Music television” interviewing other celebrities and artist such as; Rapper Ludacris, Mike Bivins of new Edition, Gym Class Heroes, NBA star Ricky Davis, The Roots, Kat DaLuna and many others.
Attending the University of Massachusetts Fallon started out as a Nursing Major because she had a great passion for helping and caring for others. While on exchange at the University of Hawaii she had a change of heart and decided to follow her true passion, Television. She realized that Television was a tremendous vehicle in which she could use to inform and help others.
Returning to UMass as a Communications major Fallon’s on air talent Blossomed. Fallon then became a Reporter/Anchor and Producer of “UMass this Week” the University of Massachusetts news show in which she reported on a weekly basis to an audience of over 28,000 students. She also produced her own entertainment show while at UMass.
After College Fallon’s first job was working with Battered women and children. Then she arrived at Fuze magazine reporting and putting a spotlight on local and mainstream artist. In 2008 Fallon was runner up for a spot on MTV’s reality show “The Real World” and landed second place in an E! News online competition. She was also picked as a VJ to introduce Lil Momma’s G-slide video on MTV on demand.
Fallon dreams of being an Award winning reporter who owns a nonprofit battered women’s organization. She aspires to one day leave a great impact on the world through her work on television.
